for Pocket Kit — the all-in-one toolkit app
Pocket Kit is a collection of everyday tools — attendance tracking, CGPA calculation, EMI and GST calculators, a to-do list, BMI tracking, and a few AI-powered extras — built to live entirely on your phone.
This policy explains, plainly, what happens to your information when you use the app. The short version: Pocket Kit was built to need as little of your data as possible, and almost everything you enter stays right there on your device.
Pocket Kit does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide your name, email, or phone number to use any tool in the app. We do not operate a server that stores your personal information, and we have no database of user data anywhere outside your own phone.
The information you enter into Pocket Kit's tools is saved using your phone's local storage (an on-device database and local app settings). This data never leaves your phone unless you choose to export, screenshot, or share it yourself. It includes things like:
If you uninstall Pocket Kit or clear its app data, this information is permanently deleted. We don't have a copy of it anywhere, because we never received one.
Some tools — Horoscope, Truth or Dare, Roast Me, and Daily Quiz — use Google's Gemini AI to generate content. These features work on a "bring your own key" basis:
Your use of Gemini is subject to Google's own terms and privacy policy for that service, since the request goes from your device straight to Google.
Pocket Kit uses a small number of external services to power specific features. Here's exactly what each one is for:
| Feature | Service | Data type |
|---|---|---|
| AI tools Horoscope, Truth or Dare, Roast Me, Daily Quiz |
Google Gemini API | Direct device-to-Google |
| Horoscope readings | Aztro API | Zodiac sign only |
| In-app ads | Google AdMob | See advertising section |
| Everything else | — | Stays on device |
We don't control how these third parties handle data on their end — we'd encourage you to review Google's Privacy Policy if you'd like the full picture of how Gemini and AdMob handle information.
Pocket Kit is free to use and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID to show and measure ads — this is used solely for displaying advertising, not for analytics, personalization profiles, or account management on our end.
You can reset or limit your advertising ID at any time from your device's system settings (usually under Settings → Privacy → Ads or Google Settings → Ads, depending on your Android version).
Pocket Kit requests the following device permission:
Pocket Kit does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, call logs, or messages.
Pocket Kit is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and as described above, the app does not collect personal information from any user in the first place — everything stays local to the device.
If this policy changes — for example, if a future update adds a new feature that handles data differently — we'll update this page to reflect that. We'd encourage checking back occasionally, especially after app updates.
